In the run-up to "Grondig absurd", the duo exhibition with Ada Dispa at the Museum van Alle Tijden and ALARM in Beugen, I realized how important the role other artists play in my life.

Of course there are the predecessors and inspirators whose work I absorb in museums, manifestas and biennales, about whom I inform myself through literature, but I also like to visit the studio of an artist I know personally or who I would like to get to know. know.

The presentation, which officially starts on Sunday, June 19, is the direct result of a visit to such a workplace. The photos I show are the result of a personal introduction to colleague Ada and her special oeuvre, they should be seen as a tribute to her!
