    Speechless

    The words for something.
    Reality with that.
    Things are speechless.
    Sometimes you hear them singing.

“My work is initially an escape from the given. I make individual things. There is no story attached to it yet.” says Hans Vos.
“I have not yet managed to get the image to talk itself. To give it a sentence so that it always has text when asked.”
Talking art. Is anyone waiting for that? Stories are better off when the viewer creates them. Something this one can't resist anyway.

Last year, Vos placed an appeal on the internet. After moving his studio, he had no room for two monumental statues. Ans Verdijk, from the artist initiative Alarm and Museum van Alle Tijden in Beugen, responded enthusiastically. She calls him a technical man, praises his craftsmanship and the way he plays with your imagination.
Since then, his “Queen's Page”, an abundant construction of puzzle-like shapes, has stood in her garden in Beugen.

The exhibition “Sprakeloos” in Het Museum Van Alle Tijden offers a broader view of the art of Hans Vos.
Intricate objects, inventions and decorative curls fill the museum space. Maybe they'll get away with you. Can you hear them singing?

“Speechless” by Hans Vos. From March 2 to April 27 in the Museum of All Times in Beugen.
The “Queen's Page” can also be seen there.

In the yard of Theater De Steenakker in Haps is “Opportunity to Pour”, the other monumental statue.
