Janneke Bal Tussen obtained her diplomas for the Fashion/Custom Clothing course in Zutphen and the HBO art academy ABK/St.Joost, autonomous art, 's-Hertogenbosch 2014.
Joël van Lith obtained her diplomas for the theater course and the HBO teacher training course in visual arts and design, Artez, Arnhem in 2016.
Janneke and Joël met each other 8 years ago in East Brabant.
The similarities between the ladies, both in appearance and their origins and interests, created a special bond.
A special fact is that they both have one parent who practices the arts. As a result, they grew up in an environment where being an artist was not foreign to them, and their creative ability was stimulated from an early age.

There are great similarities in the work of these artists, such as working with textiles, experimenting with structures and connecting recognizable materials in an autonomous way to create spatial installations. Which results in a special collaborative project.
