At first glance my work seems playful in an almost childlike way with motors, various materials and light. Curious, I experiment.
Not only various materials, but also various media, from moving installations, drawings, large blown-up photos to fabric sculptures. An idea is growing in my head and I don't want to limit myself to a single medium (yet).
Light is something that always comes back in my work. I like to play with light and dark. Sometimes a moving projection is the protagonist, sometimes the entire image provides light and sometimes the shadow is the center. Light gives me a feeling of security, of life.
I want to add this sense of security because I do not want my images and mechanical installations to only radiate a certain coldness. They are often also enveloped in vulnerability and a dose of humor, which gives them an extra layer.
