The artists' initiative ALARM opens this season with a presentation by a third-year student

from the St. Joost art academy in Breda.
ALARM gives three students from this academy the opportunity to gain practical experience. They stay in ALARM, where they work for 2 to 3 weeks to arrive at a final presentation.
The students are supervised by senior lecturer Bart Slegers from the Monumental and Sculptural department of St. Joost and artistic director Ans Verdijk from ALARM.
Marijke Maas will give a presentation in the room, in which elements of drops and mist guide the viewer to another world. 'A play between appearance and reality, where the water surface functions as a gateway to the world where the distorted image speaks the truth.'
