Museum of All Times

The basis is a polyester feed silo around which a wicker conical shape is woven. Five viewing boxes are integrated in this form. The well-known field chapels that decorate the landscape in Brabant and Limburg have been the source of inspiration for the Museum.
Every two months there is a new exhibition of ceramicists, sculptors, designers, painters and other disciplines. Visitors of all ages can view the works around the Museum of All Times 24 hours a day, all year round.

Opening of the Museum of All Times

The Museum of All Times is open on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 3 p.m.

Program:

- Introduction by initiator Ans verdijk and architect Janneke van Bergen.
- Blessing by Pastor van der Steen, with the guidance of the Guild of Beugen.
- Unveiling of the banner of the patron saint of the Museum Angela de Merici.
- Appointment of the patroness and patroness by Marijke van Bergen.
- Speech by Liesbeth Jans, head of OMB of the Brabant Knowledge Center for Art and Culture.
- Opening of the Yvonne Halfens Sculpture Exhibition.
- Viewing the exhibition of next year's artists.
- Children's presentation in artist initiative Alarm.
- Driving works of art by Beugen by artist Rutger Cox from Ghent, Belgium.

Patron Saint Angela de Merici

The Museum of All Times is dedicated to the patron saint Angela de Merici, foundress of the Urselin order.
A banner has been designed for Saint Angela de Merici and a contemporary prayer written by Alice Jetten which is displayed next to the museum.
January 27 is Angela de Merici's memorial day. On this day a local parade will be held by the children of Beugen
The children carry a wicker miniature museum in which they exhibit a small work that they made during an art lesson with Ans Verdijk.
The children make a small work based on works by professional artists who will be exhibited in the museum.

Location

The Museum of All Times is located in the beautiful country of Cuijk, in the municipality of Boxmeer, formed by the river Maas with its banks. It is located near the end of walking route 3, the kingfisher route.
It is located between point 14 and point 15 on the national cycle route network.

Excursion

Modest on the outside, grand on the inside.
What protrudes above the ground surface also extends into the depths.
